{"id":1805,"date":"2011-02-20T18:05:28","date_gmt":"2011-02-20T22:05:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w4kaz.com\/qth\/?p=1805"},"modified":"2011-02-20T20:33:30","modified_gmt":"2011-02-21T00:33:30","slug":"arrl-dx-cw-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w4kaz.com\/qth\/?p=1805","title":{"rendered":"ARRL DX CW 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;E&#8217; Says E&#8217;s not dead yet!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Some life in 10m.\u00c2\u00a0 Not fabulous for the peanut whistle, but a lot better than recent times.<\/p>\n<p>20m was really pretty good compared to recent excursions into the ether.\u00c2\u00a0 At least for the short times operated.\u00c2\u00a0 It was pretty cool to hop on 20m, call CQ, and have a 150Q 10 minute rate.\u00c2\u00a0 The rate didn&#8217;t last for more than 15 minutes, but it was great to have a whack at what can happen when conditions improve.\u00c2\u00a0 Too bad it doesn&#8217;t happen more often.<\/p>\n<p>10m and 15m had signals, but not a lot of mixed success trying to work them.\u00c2\u00a0 For a change, 20m was easier.\u00c2\u00a0 The 10m\/15m antenna situation may change.
