The run station was equipped with a 40 foot(12.2m) mast. The mast is topped with a pair of 56 foot(17.1m) doublets that are at right angles to one another, and fed with 450 ohm window line. The window line ran to 4:1 baluns and were tuned using the K3's internal tuner. These antennas worked well at the 40 foot height.

For the contest the mult station used a "what's up there now?" antenna. It transitioned from an 80m dipole, to a 20m one wavelength vee beam, to a shorter doublet. The legs kept moving around too.

One of the iterations of the mut antenna was to convert it into another 56 foot(17.1m) doublet, with extra wire on the ends. Theantenna was lowered to attach extra wire to extend operation down to 80m.
